It's very challenging sometimes. But, if you like the contact with the public and have good set of communication skills, it can be really fun

It offers different products or services to the consumers and is able to advise which one could meet the needs of the customer


What do salespeople do on a typical day?

They encounter different potential customer and offer them a product or service that meet their needs. They try to take out has much information has possible to understand each customer's reality of each customer and be able to advise them in the best possible way.


Where do salespeople work?

It could be in any place that offers a product or service. It could be in retail stores, kiosks, in a call center or even has a door to door salesperson.


How can I become salesperson?

You could apply at a retail store, or you could develop a certain skill that is worth selling has a service. But, more importantly, you should work on your charisma and communication skills.


How much money do salespeople make?

It depends on the rarity of the product, or on the level of expertise needed to offer that specific service. It also depends on the branding of what you are selling. If it's presented has a luxury item, it could be sold at a higher price. It also depends on the payment structure of the company you work for. If they offer a commission on sales, you could earn a lot more money if you are a good salesperson.


What kinds of additional training do salespeople need?

You could learn how to respond to hesitations or work on your non-verbal and body language. Also, you could work on your communication skills.


What are the dangers of being salesperson?

Other than the common stresses that sales apply on your moral when you get declined, there is no real threat of being a salesperson.


What are the chances that salespeople will be replaced by robots soon?

It's very unlikely that the salespeople would be replaced by robots. One of the things that make a good salesperson is the ability to create trust. A good salesperson is able to transmit trust through the tone of his voice and his non-verbal which cannot be recreated by a robot.


What age do salespeople retire at?

In my experience, the older the salesperson, the more experience they are and the more capable they become in responding to the hesitations of a potential customer.


Conclusion

I have almost 10 years of experience as a salesperson, and I am pursuing my college degree in business management. In the next year, I hope I can attend a project management or an event manager course to late be a project or event manager.
