To become a correctional officer, you need to have a grade eleven, and have as minimum of 2 years post-secondary in a related subject. After it can be different depending on which government you decide to work for. You may need to have to take test.

In a correctional center, you may experience some danger such as being stabbed, push, beet up, threatened, or you may see things that you would not normally see. Example a person dead in their cell because they unalike themselves.
I don't think they are going to be replacing because event ho they did something wrong they need to have contact with some human being. Also, they need to be helped by a person who can feel and talk about feeling. And I don't think that robots can be that to them some day.

I hope I can be an excellent correctional officer one day and be capable of moving forward in this field. Next years I would be doing an internship for the federal. I hope that I can get a job after that at the same pace if I like it.
