To become a police officer, you need to take a three-year CEGEP course in Police Technology, or an intensive two-year course. You must also be physically fit and have no physical abnormalities to become a police officer.
The average annual salary of a police officer is $70 000 or $37 per hour. They start with a salary of $40 000 and can earn up to $100 000 a year by the end of their career.
