The situation they need to be fixed might be dangerous. We never know why we are being called somewhere. It can be really dangerous. People might be armed, aggressive or mentally unstable. It is a dangerous job, you will have to fight frequently when working, but you will follow a training that will make sure you are ready for it.

There are not really a lot of chances that police officers will be replaced by robots. Robots can not interact with people and fix human problems. At least not for now. Robots do not have the qualifications yet.

In Quebec, a police officer can retire with a penalty after 20 years of service and without a penalty after 25 years.


Conclusion

In my career trajectory, I am at my second year of the Police Technology here at Ahuntsic College. When I will be finished, I want to get in at L'École national de police du Québec as soon as possible. When I will be a police officer, I want to become a detective. It takes a lot of years to be admissible but for now, it is still my goal.
