I want to introduce my profession to other, telling about my daily activities and the common income as a teacher in Serang regency Banten
A teacher is a worth profession that has role to educate and guide the students to find and get their goal in the future
Teachers do many jobs and roles. The main role of the teacher is to educate the students, we do some meaningful sustain lesson activities, being great positive model, give them motivation, manage the classroom well and always give feedback of all the activities we do at classroom. Teacher is not only as an educator but also a leader and facilitator.
The teachers commonly greet students in the morning, some times we ask them a small talking like "How are you?". "Have you had your breakfast?" with bright smiling. We should welcome our students with love. After that, we check our schedule and read our journal activities last meeting and read our lesson plan on the day. Practically I usually prepare everything from the tools, media, sources to used.
We teach our students at classroom, park and every place at school where convenient to use. Sometimes, we do online learning when we are on distance
I went to UNTIRTA taking FKIP English department. For those who have great willing to be a teacher, they can go to some universities that have education and pedagogy teacher faculty (FKIP) and pick any certain major you like the most. Based on my life experience when you pick the major based on you like the most and suits with your passion, you will enjoy your profession.
The salary as a teacher now is better after there is a program from the government called professional educator certificate. In general this additional income could help the teacher to study more at higher level post graduate. Since 2018 senior high school teachers then managed under Banten province, they now have another allowance beside the main salary.
I think the teacher should more active join many independent training and join community
There is no danger, but we should give the best model as a teacher, because the students always imitate their role model.
I think teacher can not be replaced by the robot, because we not only teach students but also educate and motivate and guide the with heart.
Commonly we officially retired at age 60 years old
Teacher is a popular and important profession that has a great correlation with national development and its generation.
