Most artists dive into work with painting, sculpture, drawing, or mixed media.

Some artists work alone in their own corner, and some like to spend their time in workshops attending other people's work.

They mostly work on their future projects to make business out of it and become successful.


Where do artists work?

Each artist has an only dedicated workshop for artworks, whether in a house, a building or any kind of room available depending on the artist's needs.


How can I become an artist?

Art can be your main career, or not. If you would like it to be, you can apply to an Art program in college. If not, anyone who is passionate about arts can practice by attending courses depending on your preferences, and make a living out of it later.


How much money do artists make?

In Canada, there are many art careers and each one has its own salary range. For film arts, it could be between $42,350 and $73,040 per year. For any graphic artists, it's mostly between $42,350 and $73,040 per year. For design artists, it's between $51,671 and $67,262 a year. Also, Artists can increase their salary in many ways like, offer private lessons, offer consultations, sell art online, freelance for more clients in your free-time if you work in a company, create a website or even get a higher degree.


What kinds of additional training do artists need?

Artists mostly need to have additional skills to continue in their career like computer skills and business management. Or even simpler things like communication or dexterity.


What are the dangers of being an artist?

Some of the cons of being an artist are irregular scheduling depending on your career, limited opportunity because the employment is largely impacted by the amount of charity that goes toward the arts. Or even some artists may be exposed to harmful chemicals, such as solvents and fumes


What are the chances that artists will be replaced by robots soon?

Unfortunately, AI is able to replace many artists by its creativity with creating artworks since Art has a big side of creativity and showing emotions with specific things in an artwork.


What age do artists retire at?

It mainly depends on the career. In Canada, the retirement age starts from 65 to 67, but nothing can stop an artist from creating artworks.


Conclusion

Personally, I am in college studying Visual Arts. My goal in life is to become a successful Interior Designer, and make artworks in my free time and create my own business.
