Upon competition of the program, you can apply for weapons training at Nicolet College. Graduates from Nicolet can apply to the various police forces around Quebec and Canada.
Police officers make an average of 75 000 per year. The salaries vary across regions and the starting salary is lower at the beginning of the career.

It is a dangerous job. During your day, a suspect could punch or kick you while trying to escape. If the suspect is armed, he could shoot you. You may be required to draw your weapon and kill someone, causing you a post-traumatic stress syndrome.

I am currently in my third year in Police Technology program. I decided to extend my program by 4 years instead, so I could focus more on having a social life, and a job. For 2 years, I had over 9 courses, and it was a lot. I am glad that time past by so fast, and I am ready to graduates and become the best in this career.
