A paramedic can apply for its pension as early as age 50 after 25 years of service and at the age of 60 after less than 25 years of service.
Being a paramedic is a very challenging and risky job. However, helping and saving people can be very rewarding. A paramedic is someone very emphatic and rational person at the same time. The day of a paramedic is always full of surprises. Sometimes, you can have a very joyful day. Sometimes, you can have a very painful day. You have very strong emotionally to be able to make a long career in this field.
