There are many types of clients, a social worker can work whit babies and the day after with an old man. I will describe a day of a social worker that works in a secondary school with adolescents. You arrive at school at eight o'clock and you go to your office to read your note of the day after. You look at the schedules to see which class you have today. At 8h30, you go to the class and welcome the student. You need to ask them if they doing well because at their house it is not easy. During a good day, you just need to help the teacher whit the smooth running of the class. In a bad day, you need to control the anxiety of the student, anger, or sadness. They tell you their problem, because they trust you.

Social worker work can work in so many places. They can work in a school (kids and adolescent), kindergarten, elderly person's house, substance addiction, hospital, etc. The advantage to have so many choices it that we all do the same field of study but work with different people.
