Paralegals could work in many places. They could work for private firms or Ministers government . Both have their pros and cons. Private firms could offer very good salary after few years and you could expect a lot of responsibilities but you could work many hours and it could be stressfull. If you work for government, the working hours are reasonable, you will have a pension fund and a minimum of 4 weeks of vacation per year but the salary is less interesting and it will have more repetitive work.
To become a Paralegal, you could subscribe at a public or a private college. They are few ones who give it. You could follow the regular program of 3 years or the intensive course of 18 months.The last semester will be a full time internship. Some colleges offer evening classes.
The wage of Paralegal varies a lot. It depends on your year's experience and where you work. It could start at $30,000 and go up until $90, 000. The average in 2018 was $56,000.
For my part, I decided to work in public sector because I believe in public services and the citizens deserve the best. If ever one day, I don't want to work there anymore, I know that I have many options and this is a serious advantage of this occupation. Paralegals perspectives career are pretty goods. The rest is up to them.
