This article is for people who thoughts about becoming a computer engineer/systems analyst. This article explains what computer engineer/systems analyst do, and explain it importance in our society. I am motivated to write about this, since I'm directing the path of becoming a computer engineer.
Being a computer engineer is hard, since you work in all department, finding what each one need, then suggesting the company about what technical direction they should proceed in, but being a system analytic is much harder, since they need to find the nuances of each department needs and solve them, so they need to become an expert rapidly in the company.
The job of a computer engineer is to coordinate the maintenance, the construction and the future growth of a company computer system; it helps find flaws and improves them.
On a typical day, a computer engineers wake up, get ready and goes to work; once they arrive at their office, they get to work: they try to find flaws of a company and improve them, they try to coordinate the company. They then go home after their day of work and call it a day.

To become a computer engineer, you need to have your DES, which is a diplomat that proves that you finish high school. You then need to have grade 11th SN or TS mathematics, grade 12th CST mathematics or mathematics 436 to be able to join this program. This program lasts 6 sessions, so 3 years. After that, you can go directly on the job market, or you can continue your studies at a university.
A computer engineer make a good amount of money. In fact, the lowest they can make is about $25.65 an hour. In average the salary is $42.75 an hour, but they can make up to $57,70 an hour a probably more.
You need to be able to be concentrate on long hours, you also need to be prepaid not being able to move much, since you work in an office, on a desk.
They can get a repetitive strain injury, the most common injury a software engineer can face.
The chance are somewhat high, since robots can probably do a better job than us at solving problem.
The age of retirement of a computer engineers varies according to the salary, but according to statistics, the retirement age of software engineers are between 55 and 65 years old
In conclusion, computer engineer is a path that I have directed directing into, since it's a vast job that interest me. I'm more toward the network and security computer engineer, which is defending a data base from hacker, virus, etc...
